Lamdon School Leh embracing Yoga for the Welfare of All as One World-One Family!

What an incredible celebration of the International Day of Yoga at Lamdon Model Senior Secondary School! Led by our amazing Yoga Expert and teacher, Mr. Ravinder, the entire school came together to acknowledge the profound importance of yoga, especially for students.

Aligning with the theme for this year's International Day of Yoga, 'Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' or 'Yoga for the Welfare of All as One World-One Family,' we witnessed the power of unity and interconnectedness during our yoga session. It was a true representation of how yoga can bring us closer as a global family, nurturing a sense of compassion and harmony among all.

Our Principal, Dr. Stanzin Dawa, along with the Vice Principal, Teaching and Non-Teaching staff, and our enthusiastic students, wholeheartedly participated in the yoga session. The positive energy was simply infectious!

Following the invigorating yoga session, we were blessed with the opportunity to experience a serene and calming meditation led by Vipassana Meditation Teacher, Mr. Subramanyam. The mindfulness and tranquility that filled the room allowed us to delve deeper into self-reflection and connect with our inner selves.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Mr. Ravinder for his guidance, Dr. Stanzin Dawa for her unwavering support, and Mr. Subramanyam for sharing his wisdom with us. Their presence and dedication have undoubtedly left a lasting impact on our yoga journey.

Let us remember that the benefits of yoga extend far beyond the physical aspect. It nurtures our mental and emotional well-being, allowing us to find balance, inner peace, and a greater sense of purpose in our lives.

On this International Day of Yoga, let us continue to embrace this ancient practice, spreading its positive influence and contributing to the welfare of all, as we truly believe in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - the world as one family.
