From the very beginning, Lamdon has advocated to preserve the tradition and culture of Ladakh and promote compassion in students.
Our students are not just prepared for the challenges of work-life ahead but are instilled with the values that make them virtuous and responsible human beings. The morning assemblies include prayers, yoga and meditation. There is a separate yoga club that focuses on physical and mental health of the students.
The Buddhist dialectics classes held for higher classes stimulates the philosophical inquisitiveness of the students, encouraging them to view issues from multiple perspectives. The school collaborates with monasteries across India for different self-discovery and science-spiritual programs for its students. The school has a monastery within the campus where prayers are held from time to time, including on the special occasions and festivals.
