Excursions trips for children at school from their early stage serve as invaluable extensions of the classroom, providing children with first-hand experiences that stimulate their curiosity, foster a love for learning, and deepen their understanding of the world around them. By stepping outside the confines of traditional learning spaces, the young learners are exposed to a myriad of sensory stimuli, enabling them to connect theoretical knowledge with tangible, real-world applications. Moreover, it instill a sense of wonder, appreciation, and respect for nature, laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to environmental stewardship. The memories forged on these outings become cherished milestones in a child's educational journey, nurturing their holistic development and shaping them into informed, inquisitive, and compassionate individuals.
Today, the Kindergarten students of our school embarked on an enriching educational excursion to the DIHAR DRDO Leh. The visit helped them to have a better understanding of the wonders and joy of the natural world. It also exposed our little ones to acquaint themselves with an array of organic produce, including fruits, vegetables, and vibrant blossoms of flowers, as well as various fascinating animals.
The children were thoroughly captivated by the experience. They delighted in exploring the farms, engaging with the knowledgeable officials, and, perhaps most significantly, enjoying the freshly plucked organic fruits straight from the orchards.
All the activities were supervised by the experienced and qualified staff members of DIHAR DRDO and our own Kindergarten teachers, ensuring the utmost safety and well-being of our cherished little ones. The day unfolded as a delightful fusion of fun-filled activities and invaluable learning experiences.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Director of DIHAR DRDO for graciously permitting our tiny tots to immerse themselves in the natural wonders within the campus. Additionally, we extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Stobdan, the esteemed Scientist at DIHAR DRDO, whose generous assistance was instrumental in facilitating this visit. The entire staff at DIHAR exhibited remarkable kindness and support towards our children throughout the day.
