We are extremely happy that our school is one of the firsts(among Pvt. schools) in the Union Territory of Ladakh by incorporating NCC Curriculum for the students (for both boys and girls).
The National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Service Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organisation which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidates during selections based on the achievements in the corps. The National Cadet Corps is the Indian Military Cadet Corps with its Headquarters at New Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis.

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is one of the many activities which our students can pursue to add to their learnings and aptitude. The School incorporated National Cadet and has a dedicated wing for NCC. NCC course and training is imparted to students for them to be disciplined, honest, patriotic, secular and wedded to the national cause transcending all barriers. It also paves a strong foundation for the future of the students seeking college admission, NDA selection and other jobs.

Regular activities like Drill, Rifle Drill, Map Reading, Weapon Training, Field Craft and Battle Craft to name a few are being imparted to the cadets as per the syllabus framed by NCC Directorate. Anti-Drug Rally, Swachchh Bharath Abhiyan, International Yoga Day, Independence Day, Republic Day, Kargil Vijaya Diwas, Fit India Movement, Army Awareness, Swarnim Vijay Varsh and NCC Day celebration are some other programs conducted by NCC.

NCC cadets also attend different Camps round the year and participate in different camp activities organised at different state and national level.

NCC not only benefits the candidates in improving their overall personality and but also puts the candidates on the priority list while being selected for a job in future.

Some prominent benefits of joining the NCC for students are listed below:

  • Candidates are given preference while admission to the top colleges and universities all across the country.

  • It will give a reflective preference in Army.

  • Candidates get a reservation in state government jobs.

  • Candidates are even preferred by many private industries for different types of jobs.

  • NCC develops all round confidence and responsibility among the cadets.
