Post Covid pandemic studentsโ visit to Lamdon Clinic has significantly increased and frequent complaints about vision problems. On the other hands teachers were complaining about studentsโ not completing their homework. Seeing the seriousness of the problems we had organized a Vision Screening Campaign at Lamdon Clinic for our students. We knew that the Covid related pandemic has led to a sharp increase in childrenโs screen time, owing to virtual education, work from home, video conferences, online entertainment, gaming, and video chatting with friends and family. Consequently this pandemic has given rise to another pandemic of eye related issues.

The Lamdon Clinic is the culmination of years of progress that has been made by the dedicated volunteer doctors and staff of The Himalayan Health Project towards the ultimate goal of assuring world class medical health care to every resident of Ladakh. The founder Bill Kites dedicated the Lamdon Clinic in the memory and spirit of his loving father Mr Roy Kite. The Lamdon Clinic has four fully functional and autonomous treatment chairs in addition to two separate cleaning, scaling and dental hygiene stations. We have most well equipped vision health care facilities.
