Officers from Indian Navy interacted with Lamdon School Children...

It is important to have experienced and resource persons of different fields interact with our school children on a regular basis. Such interaction is something that our kids enjoy because its different yet educative for them from seeing their teachers every day. It is our sincere effort in providing talks and interactive sessions with experienced councillors in sharing their life experiences with our students.

As part of these interactive sessions, Two officers serving in the Indian Navy Cdr Vishal Bajpai and Cdr G Arun visited our school today to have an interaction with our students to generate awareness amongst the students about the Indian Navy and its multifarious activities. They shared an interesting audio visual presentation which provided a detailed glimpse of the Naval life and various aspects of the navy. The charm and challenges involved were showcased through video clips. The presentation inspired our students and motivated them to develop positive attitude, inculcate culture of service before self and foster spirit of nationalism. The presentation concluded with a question and answer in which students showed a lot of interest and clarified their doubts before opting for Navy as one of the probable career option.

The response to the interaction was overwhelming and the students looked forward to serving the nation. The young minds were also keen to learn about various entry schemes for joining the Armed Forces and the Indian Navy in particular.

Dr. Stanzin Dawa, our principal felicitated the officers and expressed his thanks and gratitude to them for their service to the nation. All of us at Lamdon including the students, teachers, staff, parents and the management would like to express our deep gratitude and salute to the Indian armed forces for their service to the Nation.
