Once again, we find ourselves truly blessed.
The entire Lamdon Fraternity overflows with gratitude for the profound honour of receiving the blessings of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Today marked a momentous occasion as His Holiness graced our school with his presence, inaugurating the week-long Ladakh Lamdon Yarchos Chenmo and bestowing his blessings upon the School's Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
The visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama is a testament to our great fortune. During this momentous event, His Holiness graced us with his profound wisdom and teachings, focusing on the Manjushri prayer (Kangloma) and the Eight Verses of Training the Mind (Lojong Tsig-Gyad Ma), masterfully composed by the Buddhist luminary, Geshe Langri Thangpa. These teachings, like pearls of wisdom, were generously shared by His Holiness to illuminate our hearts and minds.
Adding to the significance of this occasion, His Holiness also inaugurated our 50th-anniversary Magazine and several other noteworthy Publications. Moreover, he unveiled and inaugurated the H.H. 14th Dalai Lama Open Stadium, an embodiment of his blessings and the Lamdon Computer Laboratory as part of the grand celebrations marking Lamdon School's Golden Jubilee.
In attendance at this august inaugural function were many esteemed Rinpoche’s, Senior Monks and Chairman/CEC, Tashi Gyalson, accompanied by the Executive Councillors and Councillors, who joined hands with esteemed dignitaries to pay homage to this profound moment.
Truly, we stand humbled and enriched by the presence and blessings of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. This event will forever shine as a beacon of inspiration, guiding Lamdon School and its fraternity toward a future illuminated by wisdom and compassion.
