Skalzang Dorjey- One extraordinary among many outstanding teachers…

Teaching is hard work and some teachers never grow to be anything better than mediocre. They do the bare minimum required and very little more. Great teachers, however, work tirelessly to create a challenging, nurturing environment for their students. Great teaching seems to have less to do with our knowledge and skills than with our attitude toward the students, the subject, and most importantly his or her work. While teaching is a gift that seems to come quite naturally for some, others have to work overtime to achieve a great teacher status. Yet the payoff is enormous — for both himself and the students.

From imparting knowledge to safeguarding children’s welfare, and inspiring critical thought, and moral values, our teachers at Lamdon play the most significant position in the school with a shared belief that an inspired student can achieve the most amazing things in the world.

We are so happy and glad to have some of the most outstanding humans in Lamdon as teachers renewing themselves each and every day as a professional in their quest to provide the students with the highest quality of education possible with new and innovative ideas each and every single day and moreover with love and dedication towards their duty.

Every school has that one extraordinary teacher who tries to inspire a love of learning, creates opportunities for learning to happen, and acknowledges potential pitfalls but has the determination to find ways around them and we too have one…

Mr. Skalzang Dorjey has been teaching at our school from the past more than 8 years and he is someone who has always inspired and demonstrated what extraordinary teachers look like. In the past more than 8 years, he has hardly taken more than 5 days of leave and has always dedicated himself to the school and the students. Lamdon family is extremely happy to have teachers like him who have always been there to ensure that the children are provided with 21st-century quality education for the children are the future of the world.

As a token of deep appreciation, Mr. Skalzang Dorjey was offered a scarf and was expressed gratitude by our Principal Dr. Stanzin Dawa, and Vice Principal Ms. Kunzes Angmo.
