Our Principal, Dr Stanzin Dawa, called on to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Ladakh, Shri R.K Mathur ji. He discussed wide range of issues pertaining to the Education system of Ladakh. He requested for introducing Atal Tinkering Lab at our School, providing desktops, projectors and printers for ICT lab; replacement of solar batteries of the 12.5 KWP solar power plant at the school, sanctioning of Mid-Day meal scheme at Lamdon to provide nutritious meals for students in the 0-6 age group, blacktopping of internal roads and construction of pavements, construction of an ice skating rink in the school, installation of synthetic track and synthetic volleyball court at school, equipment for gym and fitness centre, providing water tanker truck and water taps for drinking and construction of toilets at the school.
The Hon'ble Lt Governor expressed his appreciation to the Lamdon Social Welfare Society and Lamdon School for providing quality education to the children of Ladakh since it’s inception and assured to extend all possible help to the School.
