Lamdon Faculties and staff accorded warm farewell to Ms. Stanzin Norzum, lecturer who has been appointed as the Principal of Islamic Public School Leh and Ven. Tsultrim, Junior warden at the Boys Hostel who has been assigned further monastic responsibilities. Our Principal Dr. Stanzin Dawa, Vice principal and all the teachers as well as the non-teaching staff of the school attended farewell function held at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Auditorium.
It was indeed a bittersweet occasion – bitter because, as both the outgoing colleagues told a packed room of friends, family, colleagues and well-wishers, that they were leaving because of unavoidable circumstances and appointments in their life and sweet because the outpouring of love in the room was an almost tangible thing.
Speaking on this occasion, the Principal and the Vice Principal congratulated both Ms. Norzum and Ven. Tsultrim on their respective appointments and thanked both for their zeal and dedication towards their responsibilities.
Lamdon family hopes that they will continue to visit the school again and again in the future and that their punctuality and commitment towards the institution will continue to inspire all of us.
