The Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (celebrating the 75th Year of Indian Independence) is being celebrated all over the country. As part of this celebration, a week-long Science festival at Leh, commencing from Feb 22 to Feb 28 was inaugurated by the Chairman/Chief Executive councillor Adv. Tashi Tashi Gyaltson at the EJM College Leh. The Ministry of Culture & the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA), GoI, under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, is celebrating the week as the glorious week dedicated to science and technology - Vigyan Sarvatre Pujyate (science is revered all over). The festival will be conducted at 75 locations through which a total of 75 Expositions, 75 Lectures, 75 Films, 75 Radio Talks, 75 Science Literary activities, 75 books, 75 Posters, 75 Awards through hybrid mode would be made possible. For this, 75 locations including Leh Ladakh.

From earth science explorations to bridging the biological sciences, at Lamdon we have always encouraged our students to brainstorm, create and construct magical models that display the concepts they are currently learning about.
Our students turned budding scientists displayed their self-designed working scientific models at the inaugural function of the week-long Science festival at Leh. and projects. They gave a detailed explanation of their project to the guests and other participants.
